African-American Achievement Scholarship: This scholarship was established through the support of SIU Carbondale alumni and friends. Scholars must be full-time undergraduate students who have completed at least 30 hours (12 at SIUC), have a minimum GPA of 2.7 and a preference that the student be of African American heritage.

Asian-American Fund: This scholarship was established through the support of SIU Carbondale alumni and friends. Scholars must be full-time undergraduate students at SIUC who have completed a minimum of 30 hours (12 at SIUC), have a minimum GPA of 2.7 and a preference that the student be of Asian-American heritage. 

Hispanic-American Fund: This scholarship was established through the support of SIU Carbondale alumni and friends. Scholars must be full-time undergraduate students at SIUC who have completed a minimum of 30 hours (12 at SIUC), have a minimum GPA of 2.7, and a preference that the student be of Hispanic-American heritage. 

Native-American Fund: This scholarship was established through the support of SIU Carbondale alumni and friends. Scholars must be full-time undergraduate students at SIUC who have completed a minimum of 30 hours (12 at SIUC), have a minimum GPA of 2.7, and a preference that the student be of Native-American heritage. 

SIUC Minority Scholarship Fund: This scholarship was established through the support of SIU Carbondale alumni and friends. Scholars must be full-time undergraduate students at SIU Carbondale in good standing with the University, have successfully completed one semester of school, and a preference that the student be a member of a minority group.

Underrepresented Student Emergency Tuition Fund: Funds raised will be used to provide tuition assistance to current underrepresented students who are unable to register for the following semester. Student must be a full-time sophomore, junior or senior, have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 and provide evidence of financial need. 

GLBTQ Resource Center Program Fund: This helps support programs and activities of the GLBTQ Resource Center.

Saluki Cares Challenge
Saluki Cares facilitates and coordinates a university-wide program of care and support for students in distress. In addition to fostering a supportive environment, the program connects students to campus resources and provides students with opportunities to overcome personal and educational barriers on their path to success. The SIU Alumni Association will match every contribution to Saluki Cares up to $4,000 during #SIUDAY.
