University College

#SIUDAY March 1, 2017

Established in 2011, University College supports our entering SIU students by offering peer mentoring, academic advising, academic coaching, career advising, student success courses, and other forms of support to ensure that you navigate the university, utilize SIU’s resources, and move into and through your coursework and major as enjoyably and as efficiently as possible.

University College Activities Fund: Funds raised will be used to support activities of students, including minorities, first generation and underrepresented students.

Saluki Cares Challenge

Saluki Cares facilitates and coordinates a university-wide program of care and support for students in distress. In addition to fostering a supportive environment, the program connects students to campus resources and provides students with opportunities to overcome personal and educational barriers on their path to success. The SIU Alumni Association will match every contribution to Saluki Cares up to $4,000 during #SIUDAY.
