On this SIU "Day of Giving", Strong Survivors http://strong-survivors.siu.edu/ is targeting the renovation of Davies 123/124 for use as our new Cancer Rehab Lab (CRL). Once renovated, this space will be much more ideal for our SIUC student staff to administer our program to benefit our participants. In addition to the renovation, we are also hoping to name the new facility after Dr. Anton’s (Strong Survivors Director) cousin, Julie Honerkamp, the inspiration for Strong Survivors http://strong-survivors.siu.edu/about/julie.php It would be a wonderful way to honor the legacy of her bravery, toughness, and enduring spirit. If you support this effort, please add 'Julie Honerkamp Naming Effort' where allowed when you make your donation.
Thank you in advance for your generous support!
Dr. Phil Anton and the Strong Survivors Staff and Participants

Exercise programs are individualized for each participant and are based on medical and fitness histories, initial fitness assessment results, and quality of life goals.
