The SIU Department of Theater and School of Music offer the right combination of theory, practice and imagination— an effective blend of academic work, production experience and creativity.

 

SIU Performing Arts combines the advantages of a large University experience with the personalized attention of smaller colleges and the excitement of a fully functioning theater production company.

Dr. Robert L. Weiss, Jr. Music Scholarship Fund:  Scholarship awarded to any student within the School of Music that is in good standing.  The scholarship was established in honor of Dr. Robert Weiss who was the Director of the School of Music from 1995 to 2007.

Theater Undergraduate Scholarship Fund:  The Department of Theater Undergraduate Scholarship will be open to all applicants with the following qualifications, regardless of race, color,religion, sex, national origin, disability, age or veteran status: 1) Student must be in good standing with the Department of Theater. 2) Student must be able to audition if needed.

School of Music Activities Fund:  To provide a fund for donations toward specific projects or events

Friends of McLeod Summer Playhouse Fund: This helps support McLeod Theater activities

Outside the Box Music Festival: This fund helps enhance the activities of the "Outside the Box" Music festival

Southern Illinois Music Festival Fund: This fund helps support the Southern Illinois Music Festival
