SIUC Minority Scholarship Endowment Fund: This scholarship was established through the support of SIU Carbondale alumni and friends. Scholars must be full-time undergraduate students at SIU Carbondale in good standing with the University, have successfully completed one semester of school, and a preference that the student be a member of a minority group.

African-American Achievement Scholarship Endowment Fund: This scholarship was established through the support of SIU Carbondale alumni and friends. Scholars must be full-time undergraduate students who have completed at least 30 hours (12 at SIUC), have a minimum GPA of 2.7 and a preference that the student be of African American heritage.

Asian-American Fund: This scholarship was established through the support of SIU Carbondale alumni and friends. Scholars must be full-time undergraduate students at SIUC who have completed a minimum of 30 hours (12 at SIUC), have a minimum GPA of 2.7 and a preference that the student be of Asian-American heritage. 

Hispanic-American Fund: This scholarship was established through the support of SIU Carbondale alumni and friends. Scholars must be full-time undergraduate students at SIUC who have completed a minimum of 30 hours (12 at SIUC), have a minimum GPA of 2.7, and a preference that the student be of Hispanic-American heritage. 

Native-American Fund: This scholarship was established through the support of SIU Carbondale alumni and friends. Scholars must be full-time undergraduate students at SIUC who have completed a minimum of 30 hours (12 at SIUC), have a minimum GPA of 2.7, and a preference that the student be of Native-American heritage. 

Dunbar Leadership Society Scholarship and Education Activities Fund:  The Dunbar Board in conjunction with the Associate Chancellor for Diversity will distributed the funds, in a weighted manner, to need-based and or merit-based scholarships, recruitment and retention initiatives, and programming allocations.
